Your responsibilities include analysing and segmenting the market in the Benelux, England, and Germany, with potential expansion opportunities within Europe. You will identify opportunities, prioritize them, and choose the best approach. You will patiently, yet proactively and purposefully, assist customers in identifying and translating their logistics efficiency challenges into ideal automation solutions. By anticipating their needs and uncovering the underlying questions, you will thoroughly assess customer requirements. You are aware that customers may not yet have identified certain challenges or risks. You will guide your conversation partners through various technical solutions, requiring knowledge and experience in logistics hardware (racks, conveyors, pallets, rackets, etc.) and software (WMS, WCS).

Together with the team of solution engineers, you will provide customized logistics solutions, systems, and services to fully automate warehouses. You will provide the solution engineers with the necessary information to realize the technical design. Together, you will present this to the customer. You will also ensure that internal departments (Engineering and Project Management) are involved at the right time to validate the planning, design, and pricing. Even after the sale, you will continue to provide regular attention to customers, ensuring excellent service and important references for new projects. Customer satisfaction is always a priority.

You will work in a team of 4 direct colleagues, under the leadership of the CEO. This is a full-time and hybrid position, allowing you to work from home or from the offices in Gorinchem or Tilburg.

Ideally, you recognize yourself in these requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in logistics within a technical project organization, with a focus on consultative selling and SaaS solutions. Preferably, you have specific experience with logistics material handling systems and/or Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Strategic thinker and tactical executor.
  • Reliable, strong communication skills, and a team player.
  • Diplomatic and attentive stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch and German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the Benelux, England, and Germany (approximately once every 2 weeks, for a few days, if you are based in the Netherlands or UK).
